The website www.phocademy.com.au is run by Phocademy Pty Ltd (A.B.N. 22 619 314 546). By making a booking with us you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.

We know that your time is valuable and that cancellations are annoying. That's why we usually have at least one other photographer in standby should your instructor become sick. Nonetheless there may be circumstances in which we cannot replace an instructor and your workshop is cancelled but we do our best to avoid these situations. If the minimum number of 3 enrolments is not achieved for a specific workshop date the workshop will usually be cancelled as well. If we cancel a workshop (for whatever reason) you can choose a new date that suits you or get a full refund of the paid fees.

If you have to cancel your attendance to a workshop you have to give us 10 days notice before the date of your workshop. You can then either choose a different workshop date or get a full refund. Please note that the refund will always be paid to the PayPal account or credit card that was used to pay the workshop fees. No refunds can be given for cancellations that are within 10 days of the date of the workshop but you may transfer your workshop seat to a different date for a fee of 50% of the standard workshop fee. This is because seats are very limited and usually every booking prevents somebody else from coming. You may also give you workshop seat to somebody else but please send us a quick email with the contact details for the new participant. If you just don't show up you cannot reschedule your workshop afterwards.

If you buy a general gift voucher with a certain face value than this voucher will expire two years after purchase. General gift vouchers are not refundable.

If you buy a gift voucher for a specific workshop date than this voucher will only be valid for this date. The date can however be changed free of charge if the participant gives us 10 days notice before the date of the workshop. On shorter notice the participant may also transfer the workshop seat to a different date for a fee of 50% of the standard workshop fee. Gift vouchers for specific workshop dates are not refundable.

Phocademy Pty Ltd and our instructors are not liable for any damage or loss of equipment or personal belongings that you bring to the workshop. You are responsible for you own gear and for your own safety. Please note that our instructors might take photos or record videos during the workshop and we reserve the right to use this material for advertising and other purposes.
